Wonderful news, Lt Gen Shwedo has just been confirmed as the J6! This has changed his calendar and this event has moved from 22 June to 25 June, same place and time. When available we will update the description below to his J6 duties.
Please join your fellow USAFA graduates at the next AF Academy of Washington DC quarterly event. This quarter we are honored to have Lt Gen Bradford J. “B.J.” Shwedo as our guest speaker. The General is a 1987 graduate and currently the Chief, Information Dominance and Chief Information Officer, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force. He leads four directorates and supports 77,000 cyber operations and support personnel across the globe with a portfolio valued at $17 billion. He has overall responsibility for networks and network-centric policies, communications, information resources management, information assurance and related matters for the Department of the Air Force.

11th Annual National Capital Region Commander's Trophy Golf Tournament: July 16, 2018
The National Capital Region Commander’s Trophy Golf Tournament is an annual competition--now in its 11th year--between graduates of the Army, Navy, and Air Force service academies. This year the tournament will be held on Monday, July 16th at Westfields Golf Club in Clifton, VA with a shotgun start at 8:30 AM.
The four-ball tournament pits an AFA graduate team against a graduate team from Army or Navy in an 18-hole match play competition. The service academy with the most victories wins the trophy. Air Force has won the trophy five times; Army three times; and Navy twice.
The cost of the tournament is $110.00 and includes golf, cart and lunch. All AFA proceeds go the Falcon Pride fund.
